MOTEN Technologies is a health care startup founded in 2018 and based in France. The company's mission is to prevent risks of musculoskeletal disorders (MSD) by measuring muscular effort.
After a year of development, MOTEN Technologies has successfully prototyped and manufactured the first measurement technology that "listens" to the sounds produced by muscles, thus revealing their level of effort and fatigue in any situation.
The company's focus is on supporting companies in various sectors where employees are exposed to the risks of occupational diseases and accidents related to physical activity. Their clients seek to objectively quantify these physical risks to improve working conditions and prevent premature wear and tear on the physical health of their employees.
MOTEN Technologies' offer revolves around two main use cases: hardware impact diagnosis such as exoskeletons, cobots, and handling robots, as well as risk detection and analysis (muscular, postural, cardiac) and the implementation of solutions.
The startup recently secured a €1.00M Seed Round investment on 13 October 2022 from a group of investors including Bpifrance, Coalescence, BADGE Business Angels des Grandes Ecoles, Club Invest Ile de France, Paris Business Angels, and ESSEC Business School.
