About Spain-Holiday.com

Spain-Holiday.com is an E-Commerce, Real Estate, Travel and Tourism startup that was founded in 2002 with a mission to provide holiday rentals in Spain. With its slogan "Holiday rentals in Spain \/\/ Alquiler vacacional en España," the company aimed to cater to a global audience. The founder, Claus Sorensen, established the company as an online marketplace for holiday rentals and expanded it into 13 languages, managed by a professional team in Malaga and Denmark. The company has achieved significant success, with more than 24 million holiday guests generating over 400,000 bookings and enquiries yearly. Managing 25,000 holiday homes, 95% of which are instant bookable, the company's success has been recognized in the Spanish and international press. Notably, Spain-Holiday.com successfully navigated the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, emerging without any losses. The company's strong performance and steady growing bottom line led to its acquisition by Holidu Gmbh in the summer of 2021. This acquisition underscored the company's attractiveness as an asset due to its resilience and continued success in the face of adversity. Spain-Holiday.com prides itself on its personal and professional service, emphasizing its status as a small, dynamic, and very focused pioneering company. The dedication to going the extra mile and sharing the passion for Spain with its customers has been a key part of the company's ethos and success. Overall, Spain-Holiday.com's journey reflects its evolution from a pioneering startup in the holiday rentals space to its acquisition, marking a successful chapter in its growth and development.
