The Stewpot has been a social services hub for the homeless and at-risk individuals of Dallas since 1975. Initially a soup kitchen, it has expanded its services to provide resources for basic survival needs and opportunities for a new life. With approximately 12,000 individuals and families benefitting annually from its Stabilization, Housing, Nutritional Support, Education, and Enrichment programs, it addresses the root causes of homelessness while offering immediate assistance. The most recent grant investment on 25 July 2024 came from Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Texas.
