Where can we win against rivals with ten times our funding?
The brief
The leadership team was preparing its next 18 months. Every week another rival announced a feature, a price cut or a funding round, and the team could no longer tell which moves mattered. They asked one question: where can we win, given that several competitors have raised far more capital than we have?

What we built
- Mapped 44 competitors into four rings, from direct rivals to the banks the client replaces, using 12 months of BounceWatch signals.
- Logged every pricing move, product launch, leadership hire and customer win, each dated and linked to its source.
- Scored each rival on hiring, expansion, leadership and capital to show who is about to move and who is about to raise.
- Turned nine strategic gaps into nine initiatives, each with an owner, a timeline and a KPI, ranked by impact and effort.
What the signals showed
The client cannot outspend this field. The report shows where it can own a niche instead.
No competitor offers free entry, local compliance, credit, in-store payments and a human adviser together. That is the white space.
A good score on far fewer reviews. Rivals are buying trust signals; the client is not yet.
