Adoption Rhode Island, with the slogan "Children First. And Always," is a private nonprofit organization established in 1984. The company's focus lies in finding families for children in state care and providing comprehensive support throughout the adoption process. Their services extend to child, youth, and family support, as well as education, training, advocacy, and referrals within the Care Economy, Education, Health Care, and Senior Care industries.
The organization has successfully placed over 1000 children with adoptive families to date, but there are still numerous children in Rhode Island awaiting forever families. This critical work is supported by grant investments, with the latest one being from HarborOne Foundation on 25 July 2022. Given their nonprofit status, public donations and support are crucial for Adoption Rhode Island to continue their mission of serving these children in need.
