In 2012, AEREON was established through the acquisition of Jordan Technologies LLC by Flare Industries LLC. Notably, it has also become the world's leading service company for such equipment.

The latest investment of $1.70M was secured through a Venture Round in June 2004. The investors in this round included New York Angels, Intel Capital, Robin Hood Ventures, Tri State Ventures, and Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Southeastern Pennsylvania.
