ALCOMET AD is the largest Bulgarian manufacturer of rolled and extruded aluminium products, offering a diverse range of semi-finished aluminium products including household, technical and container foils, finstock, sheets and strips, as well as standard and customized profiles. The latest investment program, set to be completed in 2019, will effectively double the company's capacity and expand production premises by an additional 13000 m2. The expansion involves the commissioning of a new 6-high cold-rolling mill with a maximum width of 2200 mm, a continuous casting line, heat-treatment facilities, finishing lines, and a new generation 25 MN HybrEx® extrusion press, enabling the production of profiles with a CCD up to 310 mm and wall thickness as low as 0.8 mm. Targeting high added-value products, particularly in building and architecture, flexible packaging, and automotive sectors, the company aims to penetrate new markets.
ALCOMET AD holds certifications to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, BS OHSAS 18001:2007, and EN 15088:2005, and is actively involved in programs dedicated to addressing environmental protection, waste reduction, and resource efficiency.
