ANA International, with the slogan "Say Hello to Life!," is making waves as the latest player in India's edible oil sector. A subsidiary of ANA International Pte. Ltd., a joint venture between Apical Group and Acalpo Pte. Ltd., ANA leverages their combined expertise in sourcing, refining, and global marketing of edible oils.
Acalpo, founded in 1999 by Mr. Gautam Rampuria, holds business interests in India, South East Asia, and West Africa. On the other hand, the Apical Group is a major player in palm oil, boasting significant processing and refining capabilities in Indonesia and an extensive global presence.
In India, ANA operates a large trading network with toll-operated plants in Kakinada, Mumbai, and Chennai. Additionally, the company has ventured into branded edible oils with its Hello Life and CookPal brands, targeting the Andhra and Telangana states. Hello Life recently introduced its first sunflower oil variant, signaling further growth potential.
Exciting plans are in place for ANA, with strategies for expansion in Eastern and Southern India, a foray into the bakery fat segment under the Bakemate brand, and the setup of a modern manufacturing project in Krishnapatnam. The company also aims to launch more variants under its master brands, indicating a commitment to innovation and growth in the edible oil market.
ANA International's innovative approach and strategic initiatives position it as a company to watch in the evolving landscape of edible oils, making it an intriguing prospect for potential investors.
