Atmos

Atmos, with the slogan “Go-anywhere mapping & surveying solution”, was a high-tech startup founded in 2013 in The Netherlands. Despite its recent closure, the company had carved a niche in the industries of agriculture, drones, industrial manufacturing, robotics, space, and construction through its innovative geo-spatial data gathering solutions.

The company emerged from a project at the Technical University of Delft and evolved into a thriving spin-off named Atmos UAV. The core product, Marlyn, combined the capabilities of a VTOL and fixed-wing drone, known for its accuracy, precision, and effortless usability in industries like land surveying, mining, precision agriculture, and forestry.

The company’s growth was notable, with efforts concentrated on expanding and empowering professionals to make informed decisions using state-of-the-art mapping solutions. Atmos received its last round of seed investment on December 1, 2019, from Disruptive Technology Ventures, signaling investor confidence in its potential to innovate within selected sectors.
