B&B Italia, founded in 1966, is a leader in the high-end designer furniture sector, renowned for its innovative and luxurious product lines. Operating under the umbrella of the B&B Italia Group, it extends its reach across residential and contract sectors, leveraging brands like Maxalto, Arclinea, and Azucena. A cornerstone of its success is its Research & Development Centre, fostering collaborations with acclaimed designers such as Antonio Citterio and Patricia Urquiola, resulting in iconic designs.

Headquartered in Italy's Novedrate, in a building crafted by Renzo Piano and Richard Rogers, the group employs 600 and spans 80 countries with a robust network of stores. Since December 2018, B&B Italia has been part of Design Holding, co-owned by Investindustrial and The Carlyle Group. This association forms part of a larger entity with annual revenues exceeding 500 million Euros. The last recorded investment was a Debt Financing round in October 2015 by Muzinich & Co.
