Boombotix is a San Francisco based venture that designs youth-focused electronics. Headed by iconic rap legend Robert Diggs (aka the RZA), Boombotix partners with musicians and artists to build some of the most technologically advanced audio products in the world.
The Boombot was crafted in 2010 as an alternative to headphones. The founder, Lief Storer, conceived the idea while bike commuting to work. Soon after, the product was seeded into the active lifestyles of surf skate and snow communities where the utility of the product was fully realized. Since launch, the company has built an international brand on the forefront of music technology.
Boombotix operates in the Consumer Electronics, E-Commerce, Hardware, and Mobile industries, with headquarters in the United States. The company's last investment was a $4.01M Series A investment on 17 April 2015, however, the specific investors were not disclosed.
