ChangeJar is a Canadian-based mobile commerce platform that helps retailers grow sales, increase customer loyalty, and reduce sales commission overheads. ChangeJar is based on converting physical cash into digital cash, not credit cards, and this enables us to pass on the savings to retailers in the form of flat rate mobile service fees that are up to 20 times lower than credit and debit based apps and web services. Customers pay for mobile services via the ChangeJar consumer mobile app or by chatting to the ChangeJar virtual shop assistant on Facebook Messenger. MOBILE COMMERCE SERVICES The ChangeJar mobile commerce platform supports the following services: > Order Ahead: for "skip the line"​ mobile take-out services (similar to Starbucks mobile app) > Scan & Go: for mobile self-check-out services (similar to the Amazon Go retail stores) > Park & Go: for "skip the kiosk"​ mobile parking services > Team Perks: lets food and beverage retailers run employee perk programs for local employers > Town Perks: lets BIAs and Chambers of Commerce run shopper incentive promotions for main street retailers > Smart Rewards: discounts that drive loyalty, multi-item purchases, and repeat visits In Q1 2018, a single merchant used the ChangeJar platform to sell over 30,000 coffees in as part a gourmet coffee program run in partnership with a local employer. CONVERSATIONAL COMMERCE As well as supporting a consumer mobile app for iPhone and Android, ChangeJar also makes it possible for buyers to make purchases via chat-based platforms like Facebook Messenger. PARTNERSHIPS ChangeJar also partners with large-scale e-commerce websites and consumer apps who are seeking to address credit card processing fees.
