CNN Türk is a Turkish news channel founded on 11 October 1999 as a joint venture between Doğan Media Group and Time Warner. It is the first national channel in Turkey to broadcast news in a native language from outside Atlanta and the first television channel in Turkey established in partnership with a foreign media organization. In 2018, the channel came under the ownership of Demirören Media Group. With a focus on news, current affairs, lifestyle, economics, and sports programming, CNN Türk is a shining example of independent, impartial, and principled journalism in the country. The channel operates in the sports, media, and publishing sectors and is headquartered in Turkey.
