Since 2000, Empa has emerged as a regional technical distributor in the Turkish and Middle Eastern markets, holding a position of market leadership in semiconductors in the country. The establishment of the IoT Division in 2016 paved the way for the company to engage in projects that bring together the needs of Turkey in the Internet of Things (IoT) market with the IT sector and the electronics industry. In response to rapid advancements in this field, the Empa Technology team was established in 2018, focusing on IoT, Edge, Artificial Intelligence, and R&D projects.
The IoT, Connectivity, Sensor-Cloud, and Edge AI activities of EMPA Technology, supported by global industry leaders, also include the organization of workshops for customers and universities, along with offering part-time work opportunities to final-year engineering students as part of its annual university program.
