Since its founding in 1998, the company has established itself as a key contributor to Ecuador's tuna market, processing a remarkable 50,000 MT of whole round tuna annually, serving demanding global markets.
The company is strategically located in Manta, Ecuador’s leading tuna port, and boasts an impressive fishing fleet of 21 boats, along with a cold-storage capacity of 11,000 MT. They have recently enhanced their production capabilities with new ¼-Club and Hansa canning lines. In alignment with environmental sustainability, EUROFISH S.A. invested $2.5 million in an Industrial Waste Water Treatment Plant.
As a member of TUNACONS and collaborating with the WWF, EUROFISH S.A. is advancing a Fishery Improvement Project (FIP) for their purse-seiner fleet to attain the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) certificate, reinforcing their commitment to sustainable fishing practices.
