About Fibernetics

Fibernetics is a rapidly growing Canadian telecommunications company, founded in 2003 with a mission to empower success. Leveraging both established legacy systems and emerging Internet protocol based technologies, founders John Stix and Jody Schnarr have brought their pioneering expertise in VoIP communications to provide affordable, scalable voice and data convergence solutions to the Canadian marketplace. Starting as an Internet Service Provider, Fibernetics quickly evolved to introduce Canada’s first commercially viable phone-to-phone communication service using voice over Internet protocol. With a 70-year combined experience in the telecom and Internet industry, the management team is dedicated to pushing the boundaries of the domestic and global telecom market. Headquartered in Cambridge, Ontario, the company employs over 200 staff and owns one of Canada's largest coast-to-coast networks, supporting over 300,000 customers. The latest investment round occurred on 09 December 2021, with Avant Global participating as the investor. Fibernetics' positioning in the Internet industry and its consistent growth serve as a strong indication of its potential in the Canadian telecom market.
