Forsa Energy is a UK-based company established in 2017 with a focus on developing, constructing, owning, and operating flexible gas generation and energy storage assets. The company's roots trace back to 2011 when it commenced operations as a renewables developer. Having a track record in power generation, Forsa Energy, formerly known as Velocita, successfully built and financed a substantial renewable portfolio, divesting its French renewable platform and UK operational and in-construction assets to institutional investors in 2016/17. In 2017, the company rebranded and ventured into the flexible gas generation market to address the UK's strategic need for power generation flexibility.
The company is now a part of the network and resource portfolio of the private equity group Tiger Infrastructure Partners, which manages over $1.7bn and currently has 19 portfolio companies under its wing. Forsa Energy's most recent investment was a £30.00M debt financing investment on 25 March 2019, which was led by Sequoia Investment Management Company.
With a strong foothold in the Energy and Renewable Energy industries, Forsa Energy positions itself as a leader in the energy evolution, backed by a robust financial foundation and the support of strategic investors.
