GENNEIA, founded in 2012, has emerged as the preeminent provider of sustainable energy solutions in Argentina. With the completion of the Tocota III Solar Park, the company now boasts an impressive 1,004 MW of renewable energy, underscoring its dominant position within the clean energy sector.
The company commands 19% of the total installed capacity in the country, achieving notable shares of 21% in wind energy and 12% in solar. It operates several major wind farms, including Rawson, Trelew, and Chubut Norte, collectively producing 784 MW of wind energy. The forthcoming La Elbita Wind Farm in Tandil is set to contribute an additional 162 MW, with operations expected by late 2024.
On the solar front, GENNEIA is advancing projects like Malargüe and Anchoris, promising capacities of 90 MW and 180 MW, respectively. The company enjoys 220 MW from operational solar parks. Recently, it secured a $185.00M debt financing investment from IDB Invest on 01 March 2026.
