About Global Glimpse

Global Glimpse is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing life-changing travel and leadership experiences to high school students of all backgrounds. Since 2008, the organization has impacted over 9,000 students and teachers, providing $17M in travel funding for students from 100 high schools and youth organizations across the United States. This initiative is made possible through support from various donors, including leading companies such as United Airlines, Expedia Group, Away, and Snap Inc. The organization's programs are designed to foster diversity and equity by offering need-based scholarships to students attending partner schools. Participants engage in pre-trip workshops to prepare for an 11-day international experience focusing on service-learning, cultural immersion, and leadership development in Panama, Costa Rica, or the Dominican Republic. Global Glimpse aims to expand perspectives, bridge divides, and unlock leadership potential in teens, ultimately aiming to make a positive impact on the world. With the last grant investment received from Expedia in November 28, 2023, Global Glimpse continues to fulfill its vision of creating a world where every young person can partake in transformative travel experiences. For more details on their offerings and opportunities for educators, donors, and partner organizations, visit globalglimpse.org.
