About Kritik

Kritik is an online peer-to-peer interactive learning platform that aims to enhance students' critical thinking skills through #LearningByTeaching. Launched in 2019 and headquartered in Canada, it received a Venture Round investment at 01 December 2020 from Celtic House Asia Partners, Think + Ventures. The platform allows students to submit assignments and receive evaluations based on rubrics, while also providing them with constructive written feedback from their peers. The Kritik score, which is calculated and adjusted automatically, assesses students based on the fairness of their evaluations and the effectiveness of their feedback. Instructors and TAs have full visibility into the peer review process and can provide final evaluations. Through a gamified experience, Kritik encourages the development of higher-order thinking skills and the delivery of feedback to peers, fostering a twenty-first-century learning environment.
