MessageBunker offers an automated online solution for backing up and archiving any email account or server that is connected to the Internet. Once set up, MessageBunker connects to any IMAP or POP3 email account regularly (up to every 5 minutes) and duplicates all emails. These duplicated emails are securely stored in a data facility located on an ex-USAF base. The service allows users to search archived emails online, enabling a single keyword search to cover all archived mailboxes across all time periods. Search results can be previewed, read in a webmail-style interface, downloaded in their original form, or even restored to the original mailbox. The system also indexes common attachment formats, including Word documents. The 'Time Travel' feature enables users to recreate their mailbox at any point since archiving began. Results can be viewed online or restored to the original mailbox, adding remote backup and restore capabilities to its search functionality. This feature can also effectively migrate mailbox content to another mailbox or provider. The service requires no hardware or software and its multi-tiered access control allows administrators to archive multiple mailboxes while optionally permitting individuals to access and search their own mailboxes.
