MEXAS is a shoe brand that specializes in Huaraches, Mexican indigenous shoes with a history spanning over 500 years. Handcrafted in the state of Michoacán, the hands that make MEXAS huaraches are the heart and soul of the brand. Most of the artisans have been perfecting their craft for over 30 years, making each pair a labor of love that takes approximately 2 hours to complete. Due to the intricate hand weaving process, each artisan can only craft a limited number of pairs per day. Notably, the weaving artisans are primarily mothers who work from home, providing them the opportunity to earn a living while caring for their children.

From its inception in 2020, MEXAS has prioritized positive social impact and transparency, implementing a significant SOCIAL PROJECT. The brand is committed to responsible production and actively contributes to the development of vulnerable communities in the State of Michoacán, Mexico. Furthermore, MEXAS has aligned its business with a philanthropic cause, as part of each order contributes to Mujeres Aliadas, a Mexican non-profit organization advocating for sexual and reproductive rights and healthcare for women and adolescents.
