NATIVE HEALTH

Native Health: Native Health, also known as the Native American Community Health Center, Inc. (NATIVE HEALTH), was established in 1978 with an initial grant from the Indian Health Service. The organization has since evolved from a small community nursing program to a comprehensive entity with two primary service divisions: the Primary Care Division (Medical/Dental) and the Behavioral Health Division.

NATIVE HEALTH offers a wide array of programs, including primary medical and dental care, WIC services available at three sites, health promotion and prevention, wellness programs, and behavioral health programs. The organization serves over 13,000 individuals annually, accommodating over 70,000 visits. It holds contracts, grants, and fees for services totaling over $11 million. As a private, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, NATIVE HEALTH is governed by a Chief Executive Officer under the supervision of the Board of Directors. It is also accredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, Inc.
