NUMARK Associates, Inc. is a Washington, DC-based energy and environmental consulting firm specializing in technical support, research, and management services to U.S. and international government and private sector clients.

Since its founding in 1991, NUMARK has worked with U.S. and overseas customers, delivering research, analytical, and technical services to various public and private entities.

The firm focuses on providing technical support services to regulatory authorities and development institutions. For instance, NUMARK heads an international Technical Support Organization (TSO) providing a wide range of technical and scientific expertise and assistance to national nuclear safety authorities, including support contracts with the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) and the UAE Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR).

NUMARK also supports U.S. Agency for International Development (AID) energy assistance activities under its “Energy II” IDIQ program, heading a team of companies offering AID wide-ranging capabilities and experience in clean energy development, energy sector reform, energy governance, utility commercialization, and other areas.

NUMARK has supported energy development activities of the US Trade and Development Agency (TDA), and has been a trusted mission partner of the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), assisting the Governments of Guyana and Colombia in the development of sustainable energy regulatory frameworks and energy businesses.
