The journey began with a significant boost from winning the ESA Space Resources Award, which paved the way for launching their groundbreaking Cyclops™ project.
The hallmark of Odysseus Space’s innovation lies in its Laser Communication as a Service (LCaaS™) model. In 2021, they reinforced their position by securing a second ESA contract and an agreement to integrate into a crucial Ground Stations Network. In 2024, the company achieved another milestone: engaging in a contract for the first in-orbit demonstration of the Cyclops™-DTE.
Furthermore, Odysseus Space is gaining traction in defense applications, having been selected by the European Defence Agency to contribute to Project OPTIMAS and Project AVALON, both focused on cutting-edge communication technologies.
