Orange Inc., with the slogan "Creating a world where everyone enjoys manga," is dedicated to developing manga specialized deep learning models focused on computer vision and natural language processing. Founded in 2021, the company has successfully automated much of the traditional manga localization process with its "Manga AI Localization" model, which has streamlined the localization process, enabling quicker and more cost-effective translations with human professional quality assurance.
As the first manga utilizing the “Manga AI Localization” system, Orange has released "Neko Oji: The Guy that got Reincarnated as a Cat" on Twitter and TikTok. "Neko Oji" is a widely popular Twitter manga in Japan, created by Mr. Yajima, with over 500,000 followers, marking a significant milestone for the company.
With its last investment of $1.80M in a Seed Round at 04 August 2023, Orange attracted significant interest from investors, including Globis Capital Partners and Chiba Dojo. Positioned in the Information Technology sector and headquartered in Japan, Orange aims to increase the number of officially localized Japanese to English manga, from the current 100 per month to over 1,000 per month within the next few years.
