Plexigrid

Plexigrid is a Swedish deep tech scale-up founded in 2020 with the slogan "⚡Reinventing electric grids for the energy transition." The company is focused on reinventing electricity grids through the development of software that provides distribution grid operators with real-time analytics, control, and flexibility capabilities to efficiently enable the energy transition. With its roots from the University of Oviedo and extensive experience in the renewable energy industry, Plexigrid's software aims to enhance, optimize, and save time for engineers involved in the operations, planning, and monitoring of the distribution grid. Its diverse functionalities include low & medium voltage monitoring, outage detection, adding storage and residential PV, integrating EV chargers, managing connection requests scenarios, load flow optimizations, Monte Carlo simulations, real-time interaction, and reporting tools.

The recent milestone for Plexigrid is the €6.50M Seed Round investment from EIC Accelerator on 28 February 2024. This investment reinforces the potential of Plexigrid's technology, which is focused on enabling a more intelligent and efficient operation of electricity distribution grids. The company's aim is to save hundreds of billions in grid CAPEX/OPEX for grid operators and their customers, consequently expediting the energy transition and making it more affordable and sustainable for billions of people.
