Sappi is a renowned global leader in the provision of powerful materials crafted from woodfibre-based renewable resources. Operating on three continents with ten production facilities in Western Europe, four in North America, and five in Southern Africa, Sappi's scale allows the production of 5.7 million tons of paper, 2.4 million tons of paper pulp, and 1.4 million tons of dissolving pulp annually. Despite its historic roots, the company's last significant investment was a Post-IPO Equity round on 19 April 2006 by Lereko. With over 11,400 employees in more than 35 countries, Sappi continues to drive sustainability and innovation in the manufacturing sector.
