Tumo Center for Creative Technologies is an innovative educational program at the intersection of technology and design, providing teens with the skills and tools necessary for success in the modern digital world. Established in 2011, Tumo offers a free after-school program with 14 learning targets, including animation, web design, robotics, 3D modeling, game development, and filmmaking. Currently operating in Armenia with centers in Yerevan, Dilijan, Gyumri, and Stepanakert, Tumo has expanded internationally with centers in Paris, France, and Beirut, Lebanon. Their recent $2.50M grant investment from the European Union on 11 March 2024 reflects their potential for growth and scalability.
Tumo's commitment to nurturing the next generation of digital creators through its unique after-school program in a tech and design-focused space aligns with the growing demand for 21st-century skills in today’s workforce. The expansion plans for additional centers in Armenia and abroad further underscore the organization's ambition and potential for broader impact in the field of education. As the digital landscape continues to evolve, Tumo's mission to equip teens with the necessary skills positions it as a compelling investment opportunity in the education sector.
