Uprise Energy, headquartered in the United States, is pioneering the way forward with their slogan: "World's first commercially sized mobile wind turbines." Founded in 2012, the company has developed the Uprise Energy – Mobile Power Station (Ue.MPS), a unique energy delivery system that eliminates dependency on the traditional power grid and fossil fuels.
The Ue.MPS is a 10kW wind turbine compact enough to fit in a 20’ (6m) shipping container. This innovation can be easily transported by a standard vehicle, assembled in just an hour, and is capable of delivering affordable electricity even in low wind conditions. This system's flexibility allows it to be deployed close to customers, making it a revolutionary solution in the market.
Co-founded by John and Jonathan Knight, the company's leadership is notable. John Knight was honored with the Distinguished Alumni Award from the Cal Maritime Academy thanks to his achievements, including the development of the award-winning STAR Blade®. Uprise Energy was last supported by a Seed Round investment on March 31, 2018, backed by Startupbootcamp and Startupbootcamp Australia.
