About Verpact

Nederland loopt voorop in verpakkingsrecycling. Elk jaar recyclen we al 80% van alle verpakkingen. Dat is geen toeval. Dat is het resultaat van een systeem dat werkt. Wij zijn Verpact. Wij bouwen en beheren dat systeem. Samen met producenten, gemeenten en recyclers zorgen we dat verpakkingen na gebruik worden ingezameld, gesorteerd en gerecycled. We organiseren het statiegeldsysteem, stimuleren het hergebruik van gerycled plastic in nieuwe verpakkingen en helpen producenten om zich voor te bereiden op de wet- en regelgeving die eraan komt. Want een leeg flesje dat jij inlevert, kan drie maanden later alweer een nieuw flesje zijn. Een blikje is in zes weken terug op het schap. Elke verpakking die terugkomt, is een grondstof die niet verloren gaat. En elke verpakking die dat niet doet, is een gemiste kans. We staan niet stil. De doelen worden ambitieuzer, de regels strenger. Meer verpakkingen moeten terugkomen als grondstof. Met kennis, data en een flinke dosis slagkracht werken we elke dag aan de innovaties en samenwerkingen die daarvoor nodig zijn. Jij doet al mee, elke keer dat je een flesje inlevert of een verpakking goed scheidt. Wij zorgen dat het daarna op de juiste plek terechtkomt.
