Vineyard Wind

Founded in 2009, Vineyard Wind is an industry leader in clean energy, with a focus on developing the nation's first utility-scale offshore wind energy project over 15 miles off the coast of Massachusetts. The company's mission is to generate clean, renewable, and cost-competitive energy for over 400,000 homes and businesses in the Commonwealth, while significantly reducing carbon emissions by over 1.6 million tons per year. Additionally, Vineyard Wind aligns with Massachusetts state law, which seeks to have 3,200 MW of offshore wind providing electricity to the Commonwealth by 2035, potentially representing over 20% of the state's electricity consumption.
