自如/Ziroom is a Chinese Prop Tech and Real Estate startup founded in 2011 in Beijing. It offers professional property management services through an O2O model, distinguishing itself from traditional real estate agencies. Over the past six years, Ziroom has managed over 600,000 properties, served more than 300,000 property owners, and hosted over 1.4 million tenants. The company has expanded its presence to nine cities across China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Guangzhou, Tianjin, and Chengdu.
In January 2018, Ziroom successfully secured an A-round investment of 4 billion RMB led by Huapin Investment, Sequoia China Fund, and Tencent, with participation from Huasheng, Sunac China, Atlantic Joint Stock Investment, Source Code Capital, Strait Capital, New Hope, and others. This funding round was exclusively advised by CICC and legally supported by Han Kun Law Offices.
The company's most recent investment was a $500 million secondary market investment on 5th March 2020, in which it received funding from SoftBank Vision Fund.
