Suas Aerospace, founded in 2021, is an Irish-based private upstream space service provider, with the slogan "Developing a world leading Irish launch facility for safe and profitable access to space for commercial satellites." The company aims to facilitate the critical test and launch capabilities of the European space sector through a dedicated rocket engine test site and orbital spaceport on the west coast of Ireland. This spaceport will provide access to polar orbits from a location with a temperate climate, within the European Union, and with excellent logistical connections to mainland Europe.
As of 15 December 2023, Suas Aerospace received a significant €4.90M grant investment from the European Commission.
